Hammer charted in the early 1990s with a version of this song created for the first of the Addams Family movies.  The Addams Groove wasn't the original theme song that charted. It was an adaptation that was used in one of the successful movies from the 1990s. Hammer is not Jan Hammer (of Miami Vice theme fame) but M.C. Hammer (remember when it was "Hammer Time"?)
