LUCKY PENCIL

I found a lucky pencil and it's been so lucky for me.
I used it once and got and A in math, then I got an A in history.
Who know show much luck it might fetch?
I just completed a prize winning sketch.

I found a lucky pencil and it's gonna be so lucky for me.
Can we use it?
No no. No, no no.
Can we use it?
No. No no.
Can we use it?
No no. No no, no no.
Why? Why, why?
The lucky pencil is mine.
Oh yeah.

I'm so careful but even if I don't lose it,
That pencil gets smaller every time I use it.

Another test I had to take
With the lucky pencil, not one single mistake.

I'm afraid because I know this can't go on
My luck will run out when that pencil is gone.

Even though it's been lucky in every way.
It's getting smaller and smaller every day.

I found a lucky pencil and it's been so lucky for me.
Can we use it?
No no. No no, no no.

The lucky pencil is mine.
Oh yeah.

The pencil is gone now, it's less than a nub.
And the eraser is flat, it's had it's last rub.

I took a test without it, and the very next day,
Found out with no lucky pencil, I still got an A.

It was me and not the pencil, without doubt.
I feel so lucky to have found this out.
