The most common request I've received is for the lyrics to Batman. Here they are. Don't email me if I missed a na, or if you think they're incomplete.

The theme was a Billboard Top 40 Hit twice in 1966. The original theme by Neal Hefti & His Orchestra charted as high as #35. Hefti was and arranger for Woody Herman, Henry James and Count Basie. He composed several other TV theme songs. Oddly enough a cover of it went to #17. The cover was by the Marketts, a Southern Californian Surf group known for instrumentals. Their big hit (#3 in 1963) was Out of Limits and was based on the theme for The Twilight Zone.

Incidental music for the episodes were composed by Neal Hefti, Nelson Riddle and Billy May, all top orchestral composers of the time.

Elmer Bernstein, Robert J. Drasnin, Warren Barker may have also composed music for the show, thought I haven't been able to confirm it from several sources.
