"What if I don't know the title of the TV Show?"

Try using the Google Search available on Blackcatter's World.  See the bottom of the page.

"What if a show or theme I'm looking for is not on Blackcatter's World?"

It usually means one of 3 things: I cannot find the lyrics to the theme, I am not aware that the show's theme has lyrics, or I have never heard of the show.

"What if I know of a TV theme with lyrics that's not on Blackcatter's World?"

Please email me! At least tell me the name of the show. Even better, share the lyrics with me if you know them. That's the best way to get them on Blackcatter's World.

"Why don't you have TV theme music files (.wav, .mp3, etc.) on Blackcatter's World?"

There are several reasons: I don't have the web space to host that much stuff, I don't have access to all the themes, and the are issues with copyright infringement issues.

"Where can I find TV Theme music files?"

There are many sites. Do a search on Google. Please don't email me.  I don't keep track of them and only have a few myself.

"Why don't you have the lyrics to the songs on musical TV shows such as the Monkees, Partridge Family or the Simpsons?"

I'm trying to keep pretty close to the focus of TV theme songs. Most of those shows have websites dedicated to them where you can find lyrics. I like the fact that I have obscure lyrics to obscure shows along with the major shows.

"Can you give me anymore info on a show or theme?"

Probably not. What I know is on the site. I'd suggest looking around the Internet.

JUMP THE SHARK

This is a must-see site if you like TV and have favorite shows - either old ones or current ones. The title comes from the Happy Days episode where Fonzie (in his leather jacket) jumps over a shark while water-skiing.  As it says on the main page of this wonderful website: "It's a moment. A defining moment when you know that your favorite television program has reached its peak. That instant that you know from now on . . . it's all downhill. Some call it the climax. We call it jumping the shark."  By the way, Garry Marshall, the creator of Happy Days, agrees that Fonzie jumping the shark is, indeed, where the show "Jumped the Shark" (He said so on The Late, Late Show with Craig Kilborn).

TV CREAM

A great site - especially for British TV Shows. Has a lot of interesting info on the shows and a fair amount of images too.

The DuMont Network History

THE DuMont NETWORK?

Check out this terrific site on the history of the United States "fourth" network of the 1940s and 1950s. As you can see, I'm not much for listing website links, but this site is a "do not miss" for anyone who loves television.
