Gotta get up, I gotta get goin'
I'm gonna see a friend of mine
He's round and he's fuzzy
I love him because
He's just Pooh Bear, Winnie the Pooh Bear
Lookin' for fun, chasin' some hunny bees
Pooh Bear I know he's out there
Rumblee tumblee, climin' a hunny tree
Fun never ends for us, we're so adventurous
Least every now and again
And when we're alone and there's nobody home
It's nice to be able to count on a friend
Like Pooh Bear, Winnie the Pooh Bear
Wherever you go, oh won't you take me please
Pooh Bear, I gotta be there
It's me and it's you
Silly old Winnie the Pooh . . .

The following is the lyrics to
one of my favorite songs.
Return To Pooh Corner
by Kenny Loggins from the album Return To Pooh Corner
Christopher Robin and I walked along
Under branches lit up by the moon
Posing our questions to Owl and Eeyore
As our days disappeared all too soon
But I've wandered much further today than I should
And I can't seem to find my way back to the Wood
So help me if you can. I've got to get back
To the House at Pooh Corner by one
You'd be surprised. There's so much to be done.
Count all the bees in the hive
Chase all the clouds from the sky
Back to the days of Christopher Robin and Pooh
Winnie the Pooh doesn't know what to do
Got a honey jar stuck on his nose
He came to me asking help and advice
And from here no one knows where he goes
So I sent him to ask of the Owl if he's there
How to loosen a jar from the nose of a bear
It's hard to explain how a few precious things
Seem to follow throughout all our lives
After all's said and done I was watching my son
Sleeping there with my bear by his side
So I tucked him in, I kissed him and as I was going
I swear that the old bear whispered "Boy welcome home"
Believe me if you can
I've finally come back
To the House at Pooh Corner by one
What do you know
There's so much to be done
Count all the bees in the hive
Chase all the clouds from the sky
Back to the days of Christopher Robin
Back to the ways of Christopher Robin
Back to the days of Pooh

Welcome to you, and how do you do,
Everybody's wating here at Pooh Cornner,
Waiting for you, and Winnie the Pooh,
To have a happy-ooptey-poo time!
Gloomy old Eeyore nodds his head, he worries away the time,
(Thank's for noticin' me)
Owl makes his speeches long and loud, without any reason or rhyme (Now I
remember my Aunt Matilda on my Uncle's side, my Uncle Orville that is,
who often said to me...)
While Rabbit is busy puling leaves, his carrots grow tall & sweet,
Kanga is making pies and cakes, and Little Roo's waiting to eat.
And Piglet forever cleaning house, is doing his daily sweep (whatta
whatta mess)
Tigger keeps bouncing up & down, protecting his Tiggery leap!
And here comes Winnie the Pooh, Winnie the Pooh, Tubby-Little-Cubby all
stuffed w/ fluff,
He's Winnie the Pooh, Winnie the Pooh, willy nilly silly old bear.
Wel-Wel-Welcome to you, I'm Winnie the Pooh,
Everybody's waiting here at Pooh Corner, waiting for you,
And me Winnie the Pooh! To have a happy oopty-poo time!
Let's have a happy-ooptey-poo time! (Hoo Hoo Hoo Hooooo!)

A.A. Milne and his
Christopher Robin.
