ORLANDO history images pictures

This map shows Mosquito County from Mosquito Inlet in the north to Hillsborough Inlet in the south. The St. Johns River is fairly accurately portrayed. With the exception of the St. Johns and an "Indian Path" little of the interior is detailed. It was at this time when the U.S. Military was beginning to explore this area during the 2nd Seminole Indian War.
