Orange County 1927

This map shows Orange County with its present boundaries. It also shows the districts for the five Orange County Commissioners as well as the incorporated towns and cities: Orlando, winter Park, Eatonville, Bithlo, Taft, Ocoee, Winter Garden, Oakland, Apopka, Plymouth, and Zellwood.

Notice that the south-eastern area as well as the far-eastern border of the county appear to be uninhabited (no towns and almost no roads marked). Today, nearly 80 years later, much of that area is still uninhabited. It is primarily wetlands associated with the St. Johns River basin.
