This is a map of present-day Greenwood Cemetery.

Greenwood is still a site for new burials and the majority of the old graves are in the sections A through M & W. The early graves are located in the southern section of the cemetery (the right side of the above map).

Section H

Most likely the location for many of the graves re-interred from the downtown cemetery.

Section K

Primarily the site for early African-American burials.

The military areas are located in the following sections:

Confederate Veterans: J

Grand Army of the Republic (Union) Veterans: I
Spanish-American War Veterans: W

World War I & World War II Veterans: R

As can be seen from the map, Greenwood is almost a perfect rectangle. The central eastern part just north of the main entrance is occupied by Lake Greenwood and is today part of the Greenwood Urban Wetlands Park.
