Born January 20, 1840 in Thomasville, GA & died February 6, 1902 in Orlando, FL.

Enlisted in the Confederate Army 8/12/1861 at Madison.

Assigned to Fourth Florida Infantry, Company C.

Elected First Lieutenant on 5/12/62.

Appointed Captain on 4/14/63.

Promoted to Assistant Inspector General and assigned to duty with General Finegan on 7/15/64.

Parramore Avenue, located on the west side of downtown Orlando, was named after the Confederate infantry captain.
